Can you explain to me why when I close the game with the configurations that are saved when I restart it and I touch a button nothing happens and the game remains on the title screen
If you play using controller than that's the problem you gotta redo the entire controls each time when you close the game but this doesn't apply and all types of controllers and keyboard
Hey everyone, I've figured out how to use Evil Ryu's super, as briefly shown in the 9.5 update trailer. Basically, press attack and forward at the same time twice, then press special. It's an insta kill at 100%. (I'm looking into how to do it with Ryu and Chun Li.) Have fun.😀
hi so I enjoyed the game… but I noticed something every time there is a new challenger her to unlock. It won’t show a character Sprite and it will just be a black screen without me able to do anything it usually happens every time a solo match and or a classic mode completion by for some reason every time there is a challenger approaching there isn’t a sprite thing, and it usually has a black screen with the announcer saying 321 but no actual character it won’t even load if there’s any way to fix it please let me know:3
If you have your records.bin file without having to generate an empty one, then your save data will stay intact. However, if you download a new version without transferring the records.bin file, then your save data will be lost, so keep that in mind.
Also I'm trying to join the SSBC Official Discord and for some reason its telling me to verify my phone even though I don't have a phone number or phone service. Does anyone know what to do?

Ok guys, if you are trying to play this on Windows this will NOT work for you, unfortunately. The best thing I have for you guys is to just play Super Smash Flash 2. It's a good alternative until Windows fix this (which I hope is real soon).
I think you can play ssbc on windows 11 because one of my friends have a windows 11 pc and it ran totally fine maybe because of hardware but it works fine

ryu and chun li just have it as taunt+special, iirc.
evil ryu's raging demon input is DEFINITELY not that though. but it's also just buggy enough to be that.

On the character select screen, characters aren't showing up. Does anyone know how to fix this? The game looks really great.
Glad you enjoyed it! Also, that's Windows' fault if you're using 11 or 10. It will be fixed eventually in the next update, when it comes out.

Did you make sure you have a working audio driver? That could be the main problem that is preventing it from working correctly.
How do i launch super smash bros crusade in linux? I thought that would work for windows 11 pc.
Me personally, I use Steam's WINE client, Proton, because regular WINE doesn't work for SSBC (for me at least). Here's how:
-Get Steam, if you haven't already.
-Next, hit "Add Game" in the Library menu and "Add a Non-Steam Game" (make sure all of SSBC's resources is in an isolated folder)
-Hit "browse" and select SSBC.exe
-Once the game is in your library, go to "settings" (on the right), properties, then compatibility.
-Force a Steam compatibility tool (I use proton hotfix)
-Launch SSBC through Steam and you're good to go!
