I've been trying to get GameCube Controllers working with Crusade. The main issue is the left analog stick controls. In any normal Smash Bros game, you gently nudge the stick to walk, and move it up to jump.
"Walk Type: Analog" does no such thing. I'm dashing by default, no matter how far I move the stick, and I can't jump. I'm forced to hold down a Walk button and press a separate Jump button.
The game wouldn't let me change the Walk Type unless I switch to using the D-Pad for movement, just like on keyboard, but I'm still having the same issues.
The game is very good !, But I have a problem ... which is that every time I am going to play the Classic, Training or Multiplayer mode, most characters do not have sprites, I mean nothing comes out and sometimes they come out with the colors inverted , the only ones who are normal are Kirby and Tails, I would like to see if it is a problem of my PC or the game.
(I'm sorry if my English is bad, I'm using Google translator )
I love this game, played since 9.1, and would highly recommend it to any smash bros fan.
I do have some nitpicks though. Sukapon's side special shouldn't put him into freefall, (I shouldn't be punished for using a movement option by flying all the way across the stage and falling off the other end.) Waluigi and Gooey's remasteres are great, but Gooey's neutral special could should be harder to escape, or be reverted, and a bit more personally, I miss his old f-air and d-air, though I still like the new versions. Waluigi's neutral special should get it's old inputs back, with tapping special or normal attack changing the ball trajectory, instead of the new seemingly distance based system. Also his old side-special made more sense I think, I have no idea what the current air-swimming is supposed to do. Ridley also got a new weird d-special, with a really odd hitbox. I get his old neutral special was annoying, and his d-special made more sense as a n-special, but I feel the new special shouldn't have been this inconsistent grab thing, at least give it a better hitbox. Finally, the way that cpu's (and presumably other players), can negate spikes/meteor hits is kinda dumb, it hurts a lot of characters edge-guarding, so it maybe should be removed, or nerfed.
Please make unlocking Weegee easier. I wanna play as him but for the life of me Very Hard classic mode is so f**king unforgiving, especially without continues.

Adjust the stick's sensitivity in the controls menu.

I had this problem too!! YOU NEED TO RUN THE GAME AS ADMINISTRATOR SO THE GAME HAS NO PROBLEM ACCESSING AND EDITING ITS OWN FILES
I suppose disabling the antivirus could help too
but just left click the .exe and "run as administrator" and you're good to go
