i recommend not adding a huge amount of characters to the roaster i mean if i was the devoloper i will have a really hard time adjusting the characters moveset to make the game even more balanced. that does not mean not adding them at all and some of the characters you mentioned are well made in cmc so it have a chance for coming to the game

okay so 9.5 was announced yesterday but not released, what the guy above was trying to say is that the current file is a demo that released a while back with only 2 new characters but in game is labeled as 0.9.4 or 0.9.5 demo due to only having Vegeta and Patamon as new characters, hopefully this clears things up (if you see this of course)
Just to prove that those characters are in 9.4 why don't you look at the picture for 9.4 that's literally the easiest thing you can do I'm going to hopefully stop replying but I keep finding things wrong with this one message and this isn't 9.5 if you want to prove that there's two things you can do you can realize that this picture is right next to the trailer for 9.4 or you can go back and download 9.4 and to see if this character select for yourself

You'll have to download it entirely again when it's going to update, so if you have a slow connection you'd better just wait.
As for multiplayer, it has local and LAN/IP direct. So you can play with up to six people on one computer, six people on six computer in the same place, or six people "online" by using a VPN server emulator. I recommend Radmin, it's free and very easy to use. You turn it on, choose any channel, have your friends choose the same channel, and send them the IP given by Radmin. If you join, you copy that IP, go to online, Join, and use Ctrl+V. It's a bit technical but once you get it it's a matter of seconds, and it's as stable as the host's connection (so… uh maybe not yours, lol). Personally, I see it as better than SSF2's approach as my connection is better than their servers, also they have none in my country…

Before that, I recommend either leaving player 1 as keyboard or setting another player to keyboard so you always have a viable input device. If you mess up and can't input anything, delete the game folder and re-extract it.
To be precise, first your controller must be plugged in and turned on before starting the game, and once you have clicked on Change, you have to press the same button on your controller twice AND not all buttons on all controllers will work for that. Only once a controller name appears in the textbox above, you can configure keys.
And omg wtf no, you don't have to delete the entire game folder!!! You only have to delete the input.ini file, and restart the game!
I am using a normal usb pad to play up to 5-6 players with my friends and brothers and the game whenever i close it the controller input doesn't work until i reset the pad controls and do it again. i know it's a bit you must reset the joypad controls all over again whenever the game close or shut down and i hope they fix the problem in the upcoming update

it's normal it respawns, that's the controls setting file. But sometimes it saves wrong and cause what is basically virtual joystick drift. You don't have to delete it everytime, only if the drift happens, which shouldn't come back once you have set up controls.

Milleniummon's file isn't ingame at all. You have to download it on the Discord server.
You have to understand the 0.9.5b we have for now is a leaked internal demo, no one was supposed to play it. That's why it misses files. Can't blame devs for this.

I can't seem to get past the main menu. I have a controller plugged in but can't do anything other than close the application.
if you plug the controller ingame the game will not recognize it at all. you must plug the controller before you open the game

Nope, figured it out. Steam Input was set to Desktop Configuration so it was giving both Controller and Keyboard input. Annoying

You have to extract the SSBC 0.9.5.EXE file along with all of the files, you have to press "extract all" when double clicking the SSBC 0.9.5.EXE file.
